When (almost) everything goes right ^_^

It's been a while since my last post~ and a lot has happened!
And (almost) everything that happened went just...right ^_^

I had a lot of deadlines for my studies. On art college, they always push you to move on forward. And keep pushing, trough your own limits sometimes. So, you don't have much time to remain non-inspired at all! *_*

And not to forget, I had a really inspiring weekend 7-8-9 december. As I already told before, it started with the 'Christmasfair', then 'Games in Concert' closing off with 'Midwinterfair'. All the events went great, and I got to meet a lot of friends again, and met a lot of new people too!
The Christmasfair around my favorite castle was really nice. The gardens around the castle where very well decorated, and the light was just perfect! It felt like walking in a fairytale. That worked well for the atmosphere too. Everyone was really friendly, and in the right mood. We sat down next to the campfires, with a nice glass of gluhwein, right how it should be! :)At the end of the evening we listened to a liveband -->
the bucketboyz. We enjoyed the performance a lot, and even danced in our huge dresses. (which must've looked totally silly, but the band was happy that we danced XD)

Look at the skirt! I'm a lantern!! XD
The four of us... in green!

The next day I went to games in concert. It was very nice to see my cosplay-friends again, it had been a while! I cosplayed Rikku, and Gonnie cosplayed Yunie. It was fun cosplaying together ^_^ But it was a bit scary at first when we welcomed the people in. Eventually we found our way in posing and talking about cosplay When the people went to their seats, we joined them to listen to the amazing performance of the Metropool orchestra. I really love classical music, and I like games too, so I enjoyed it so much! At the end of the evening we got to be on stage handing out flowers to the composers and the bands. We got to chat with them after that too, and it was really interesting to hear more about composing game music! They also asked us if we wanted to come again next year, but then with a dramatic performance onstage! Thank you guys ^o^ we'd really love to do it! The cosplay group~ in action ^o^

On the empty stage, I like this picture ^_^

On the midwinterfair I was just sooooo tired!! I came home 2:30 on saturday... And I didn't sleep much either =_= Thank god there is theatre make-up!!! My mom helped me in my big skirt again...on the parking place XD O how many times we did that before, hahaha! When I wanted to buy a ticket, a very nice lady walked up to me and told me I could have free entrance, because she found my costume so pretty! Yay, that made me so happy! (when a performance-day starts like this, it always goes great ^_^) I think it is a good thing of a festival, if they give the people who worked hard on their outfit and looks free entrance. I mean, they really contribute a lot to the festival's atmosphere. The rest of the day I enjoyed myself a lot. I came in all alone, but soon I met so many of my friends <3

The end of the weekend...wasn't as it should be. I came home and watched the show of Peter R. de Vries. It was about the murder on Anneke, which is still unsolved. It was so hard to watch it...And the days after I couldn't sleep much and I remained drained and sad. She never should have died, and nobody should die like that. I will miss her, and I will never forget her. I hope they can solve this case soon, so that the one who did it can't walk around freely anymore. http://www.peterrdevries.nl/
