I live in a rather strange way lately. There are times I don't do much, except for watching movies. (I'm addicted!) And I just can't do anything, I'm totally empty. No ideas, no inspiration or motivation at all. At those times, all the work piles up and up. So usually I suddenly switch into the 'working mode'. I realize how much there is to be done, and start moving...Faster and faster.
I started to really move forward a month or so ago. And it was very necessary! These are very busy times!
First off all, there are quite some commissions to be done! I'm happy to say that I got quite some requests for cosplay costumes. If you want to order a costume too, please keep in mind it takes time to finish the commissions before I can work for you!
I recently finished a Kiba (naturo shippuuden) costume. I'm happy how it turned out, and I hope this new Kiba cosplayer is happy with it too! I think the costume looks great on her, and it was fun to take pictures together.
But most of my time I spend at the art college these days. We are working on the play Angels in America We design the costumes and create a maquette for it, which we present to the director and designers of de toneelgroep amsterdam during the tamtam festival. This is great to do... But the play is HUGE, with the 800 pages for the script! With all those different scénes and characters, it is a lot of work that needs to be done.
