First there was a meeting of my dojinshi (fan made comics) group openminded. I got threatened again, because I was missing every single deadline ._. I had to struggle finishing my little comic, due to the work I had to do for school. But I managed to do it in the end! (by missing even more sleep) Please check the website for sneak previews that will appear soon.
The next week I did a photoshoot with Pieter Weijers his daughter and the visagist Diana. It was an inspiring afternoon, and it was great to work with these people. We all worked well as a team, and had fun taking pictures too.
A preview, these pictures are a quick photoshop/raw. The results of the shoot will appear in my gallery soon.
The day directly after the photoshoot, I did a cosplay fashion show at the city museum Amsterdam; at mediamatic to be precise. They have an exhibition called 'gastarbeider dating'. Every week there are things happening organized by people from country's all over the world who now live in Holland. That week, it was the Japan week organized by Emiko-san and Kyoko-san. They did very well, and I was happy that I could be part of it. I enjoyed the festival a lot! There was also a photo booth. You could take pictures with your tag, which is linked to your internet account. The pictures appear directly on the internet. You can see my worst and my best here (and we weren't really drunk too XD)

Then there where another 'beoordelingen' at the art college. And those are always though, no matter how soon you start preparing for them. Ofcourse, the night before there's still some work left to finish. Then you have to pack everything, and leave very early the next morning... With way too much luggage for a little girl to carry. Then you have to build everything up, which is stressful. And it's always a bit scary when you have the presentation. You can't really do it again if you mess up. Then you have to take all of your stuff out of the classroom again, and wait a while until the teachers finished discussing your work. Following by an Idols-like episode where they tell you your results. My presentation wasn't flawless. But my results where just fine. So I could sleep for 2 days straight after that ^^;
My cosplay-partner Gonnie visited my place too, to work on her dress. We are working really hard to do a (hopefully!!)
There was a market specialized in fabrics the week after. I went there with some friends and my mom. We went all out, and shopped like crazy! They really had to drag us, along with 10 bags filled with fabrics and lace, out of the building.
Directly after that, came the Gothic and Fantasy festival. This year, we had our own stand! I worked together with the ever talented Eveline and Stephanie- they worked really hard! We wanted to create a whole dress in two days, and we did it!! It was like a project runway challenge, and pretty though to do. In the end, we hoped we could sell the dress in an auction, but that didn't work out. We're still planning to sell the dress, so mail us if you're interested ;) Next to that, we had a little exhibition of costumes we made in the past. And there was also a place to sell costume accessory. A lot of people bought our cat ears and headdresses. Thank you for buying our work! And thanks to the people who where happy with it. It means a lot to a creator to see a happy face ^_^
Ofcourse I dressed up myself too. I had several dresses to show that weekend. If you have pictures, please send them to dianasama@gmail.com I also won the costume competition on saturday! I was very happy. I won a costume made my 'monogateri' and a photoshoot with 'Austerun' (I hope I wrote that wel) I look forward to working with them!
You can imagine that sewing a dress in a short time, selling stuff, giving costume-tips, posing and talking to my friends I met there, was quite a lot to do at the same time! I'm so sorry if I was a bit short of speech to anyone! I was a little bit stressed at times, so I had to rush!
