I'm back!!

And now, it's spring! Suddenly I got into some crazy mode, making stuff, going out, meeting people. I just can't seem to stop smiling and working hard. Life suddenly got awesome again. It's like how you suddenly notice it's spring, and all the trees are green. When did it happen? I don't know. But I love it!

Maybe it started for me with the 'Easter Parade' in de keukenhof. In the midst of a sea of flowers, I was dressed up in my pink flower fairy princess dress....Surrounded my hunderds of Japanse tourists taking pictures, lol! It was a lot of fun. I think all I needed to get my spring back was to dress up...That makes me such a nerd XD

Someone gave me a baby, and took a picture...How dare they! I really don't like babies >_< It's PINK it's HUGE...yeah, that's about all there is about me :s

So yeah, that totally got me in the right mood. I finally found the inspiration and mindset to starty working on my graduation costumes. For real, not in sketch, really the actual sewing part. The first costume I made before april the 25th, so that I could try it on the Elf fantasy fair. I created a character that I fell in love with.... A silly steampunk girl - A drunk, crashed, steam angel. It was so much fun to pose like this, really crazy! As a pink princess, you're supposed to smile and act pretty...But with this costume I could put up the weirdest faces, haha! I think I made some photographers laugh with my expressions too, lol.

Also, the whole weekend was great!! The start of the festival season, and after my internship abroad I kinda lost contact with quite some friends. Now I saw them again after half a year, and it was great!! We had so much fun, the lot of us.

I sold tons of stuff too, cat ears, head dresses and goggles...Thank you all for your support of my work! The best was to see everyone posing and having fun with all the things we made, so cool! Thanks!!

Later on, I won the first prize together with friends! We had so much fun during the competition, a lot of contestants were theater/film freaks like us. The best thing...We won 5 bottles of alcohol, whooohoo!! XD So yeah, ofcourse we got a bit 'elevated' at the end of the festival, like we're supposed to be. When Rapalje, one of my fav festival bands, started playing, the day was perfect!

Ok, the fun doesn't end here! Only a few more days until the anime convention! I really sold everything I've made, so I'm going to sew like crazy! And ofcourse with the ambition to create another outfit...which is ofcource- impossible. That's why I want to do it!!!
